Survived!

I just read this story and it made me happy. The story says that today the average temperature in Phoenix finally drops under triple digits. We survived our first Arizona summer, and it wasn't as bad as we thought. Compared to Austin, the average temperature went up about 10 degrees during the summer months, but humidity was low most of the time. I think that balanced things out for us. Plus, it's not like we were out mowing lawns at 2 PM during those 112 degree days.

You guys are tough. I would have moved to Canada after the first day.

I think that we felt the same way after making it through our first summer here in Austin...whew we survived. But I have to say that it was not in the triple digits every single day all summer long, so that is something to celebrate. Congrats on staying alive and hydrated all summer long.
