A few weeks ago we took a trip up to Sedona for the weekend. Our friends Ben and Sherrie accompanied us and we stayed in a vacation home owned by one of my work colleagues. This was a great way to go since we brought our own food and didn't have to eat out for every meal. Here's a taste of what we did.
Makayla practiced her modeling skills.

We enjoyed the view from the house we stayed at. How about waking up to this every morning? Not bad eh?

More of Miss Makayla's modeling skills. This was up at the Chapel of the Holy Cross.

Ben and Sherrie with Makayla, overlooking Cathedral Rock.

And one with us...notice how much happier Makayla looks on Dad's lap.

Jessica enjoying the Red Rocks.

We also went down to Red Rock crossing and hiked along the creek.

The water was pretty cold. Makayla kept picking up her legs and dangling from Jess' arms.

We also went up to the airport to enjoy the view and take some more pictures. This is supposedly a vortex spot. Ben searched everywhere to see if he felt recharged, or dizzy. No luck.

Enjoying the cooler temperatures.

We had a great time.
