Trip to Seattle and Oregon

My (Tyler) grandmother passed away a few weeks ago so Jessica and Makayla and I took a trip up to Seattle for the funeral which was this past Monday. We spent a few days there with my Mom, Dad, Brother Ryan, his wife Stephanie, their daughter Mia, and my Grandpa Mladenich. It was a good trip and although we wish it could have taken place under different circumstances, it was great to spend time with everyone. The funeral went well, I will have some pictures up later. We stayed in Seattle until Tuesday when Jessica, Makayla, my Mom and Grandpa and I drove down to spend the rest of the week in Portland. I got to drive Grandpa's new Lexus for the 3-hour trip. It was a nice ride.

I take about a million pictures of the view from Grandma and Grandpa's house every time I go there just cause it's such an amazing view.

Jessica and I had dinner with Jess' aunt Melissa and uncle Mark. This I guess would be Makayla's first cousin once removed.

Makayla rolled over in Seattle...we were trying to get a repeat performance in Oregon, but no luck.

Speaking of excitement...
I think they both had a little too much excitement over the past ten days or so.
The weather was quite pleasant while visiting. We loved being outside without the humidity or bugs

This is our niece Mia. She is 14 months old and quite active - both walking and vocally - and it's great. She says a few words too.
