This is what happens when an Oregon boy and a Colorado girl meet in Utah, date, get married in Colorado, finish school, move to Texas, have a kid, and then move to Arizona.

We made it
We've been kind of busy moving across the country the past few weeks. So I've kind of dropped the ball as far as updating the blog recently. Jessica and Makayla flew to Phoenix last Thursday and my friend Derrick flew in to make the drive with me. We drove 1000 miles and spent 17 hours in a Penske towing our car, and we're still speaking to each other. We had a good time actually even though West Texas and Southern New Mexico/Arizona aren't the most attractive of countrysides. Derrick took a lot of pictures of flat, brown landscapes. He told me it was like an old Looney Tunes cartoon with the background just repeating over and over again during the chase scene. I also survived my first week at Intel. Lots of training and more to come. We're glad to be here, but sad to have left our friends in Texas.

Yuck! I am sorry to hear that it was not such a beautiful drive, but I am so glad that you and your friend still remain so. I am also glad that you didn't have to make the trek alone. Good luck with the new job, I am sure that it will be great.
Tyler, you have a sweet tv.
You're all definitely missed!
