25 Things

Someone tagged me on Facebook so I decided to post it here too. Enjoy!
1. My birthday sometimes falls on Voting Day. It makes me feel special.

2. It snowed on my wedding day. Gotta love Colorado weather in April.

3. I used to have a freckle above my right eyebrow that people would mistake for pen.

4. I secretly, well not secretly anymore, miss my math classes.

5. I dated my husband's roommate.

6. I have 3 1/2 brothers.

7. I am not the shortest girl in my family.

8. My daughter was born in Texas but will never hang a Texas flag up in her college dorm room.

9. I am going to Italy in April.

10. I, like Carly, think that peanut butter and chocolate are the best combo!

11. I am on four MILLIGRAMS of folic acid. The normal dose is 4 micrograms. That equates to 8 pills a day!

12. My Arizona driver's license is the first license where my hair is listed as red.

13. I like to watch the NBA.

14. I hate being late - so Carly and I get along really well!

15. My nickname growing up was "nanny-jessi".

16. I am still just as bossy - at least according to my sisters.

17. I took piano lessons as a kid and really want to buy a piano for our home.

18. My husband and I got a ping pong table for Christmas!

19. I like to play Settlers of Catan.

20. I love my freckles and have had them my whole life.

21. I went to Columbine High School but was at the orthodontist on April 20, 1999.

22. I have known my husband for over 5 years.

23. My mom told me that she grew 2 inches taller in college - I am still waiting for those 2 inches.

24. I wish my kitchen floor would clean itself.

25. I love that Makayla is starting to walk!

Hey, I dated my husband's roommate too! And it's a good thing, or else I wouldn't have met my husband. Do you still get some laughs for your story?

How cute. This is a fun Tag. I love your answers, and I wish my floor cleaned itself too. And...I remember that snowy wedding day. So much fun!

I didn't know you went to Columbine High school! Ben and I lived in Denver at the time, and I remember that day well.
I'm glad you were at the orthodontist. I bet your parents were never so glad to have their daughter need braces!

I didn't realize Gabby lived in Denver during the Columbine tragedy. That makes three of us from the AM ward (at one point) who were living in Colorado then.

It's hard to find a good balance between the blog and Facebook. I prefer blogging, but FB is so quick and so many people are on it at once and updates are easy. Good thinking to post your 25 here too.
