Two events

The first (and most important) milestone was celebrating our third wedding anniversary on April 29th. Three years ago it was a very cold, slightly snowy day in Denver. My grandparents got stuck on I-80 in Wyoming during a blizzard and had to turn back while much of Jessica's extended family from Utah got stuck in the same storm. They ended up waiting it out and made it VERY early the next morning. It's been quite a ride. In three years we've lived in Colorado, Utah, Texas and Arizona, both earned our bachelor's degrees, had two jobs with two companies, been apart for nearly 6 months total while Jessica finished school and student teaching (and pregnant) in Utah and welcomed our first child. Whew...I'm tired just from writing that.
It was a cold wintry day...at the end of April...and it was 70 degrees and sunny two days later.

Mmmm cake.
The second (and much less important though still significant) milestone is that we just marked a full year of blogging. You can re-live the first moment here. Interestingly enough, that post happens to be about our wedding! Amazing how that works out. Since we started we've posted 97 times (including this one) for an average of 1.86 times a week, or 8.08 times a month. I've had a lot of fun so far and it's been a great way to keep in touch.

Those are great pictures. I love Jessica's dress. You both look so nice.

Congrats on the year of blogging. I remember when you first started. It is crazy that it has already been a year. And those are some really big moves, and from all different states too.
