Makayla's latest achievements

Makayla is two and a half months old now and she's been growing like crazy. It seems like she's been eating every hour this past week (except for at night thankfully!). Her latest trick is holding her head up. I posted a video of that below. You can't really see it in these pictures, but she's starting to lose some of her hair. She's been moving her head from side to side repeatedly over the past few days and her hair is starting to rub off on the back as a result. At least the male pattern baldness seems to have filled in nicely in front. No offense to any follicle-challenged folk out there.

I actually caught her kind of sort of smiling in this one. We've been getting a few small smiles here and there - probably gas related as evidenced by our last video. It's been very exciting for us to see her react with a smile to something other than embarrassing bodily functions. Who knew that something so small could bring us so much joy?
